The AZO Stampbox on the back with 4 triangles pointing up (1904-1918) indicates this postcard was printed sometime in the early days of films.  I presume this card, which bears the number 18, was part of a series of cards that promoted an early silent film.  The card, with the description Capback, Lost in the Woods, shows an older woman dressed in long, laced boots, substantial skirt, and with a large-brimmed hat sporting an odd device above her head.  Capback holds a miner's pick in her right hand, a small pistol in her left hand and has what appears to be a money bag over her shoulder.  She may have been called Capback because of the strange device holding the brim of her hat or cap back and away from her face.  I assume Capback was a character figure in the production and obviously not the heroine.  This is an ancient bit of history that deserves protection in someones collection given the
original celluloid film is probably long gone due to aging.
The card is in very good condition.
Please look carefully at the photos, which are considered part of the description, and feel free to ask questions.
